Swiss Bekery at New Glarus

I forgot to mention about Bekery Shop in New Glarus ...

This bekery was called "New Glarus Bakery" which was established in 1910. Their heritage of making the finest of Swiss and American pastries from the hard-crusted Hearth Breads to the Ethnic Cookie Assortment.

This is a picture of Gipfel -- Similar to a croissant, but with a richer flavor and flakier texture.

However, there is also one interesting item which is "Herbed Beer Bread" which customer can baked in your own home! Easy to make - just add beer (which was recommended as New Glarus Beer) or club soda, stir and bake.
