agnès b. is a French fashion designer. She is known for her self-named brand, which includes fashion and other items such as skincare and cosmetics line including maternity wear, shoes, and bags. Agnès b. has also designed watches and eyewear for Seiko and a beauty line for L'Oréal.

She has shops in London, Amsterdam, Singapore, Taipei, Tokyo, Hong Kong, San Francisco and Los Angeles, with more to open in Beijing and Shanghai. As far as I know, this brand is one of Japanese Favourite's and in Hong Kong it was voted to be top international brand !!!

What I am about to mention about agnès b. is not about fashion (since I am not fashionista), but about agnès b. cafe & restaurant called Agnès b. le pain grillé.


The setting is on level 3 of IFC Mall -- I like the way it was set since it's the normal path way which others might think of no use about it. However, Agnès b. can create a concept store which includes restaurant, cafe & bakery, chocolate shop, and florist in one !!! It seems like we are sitting in outdoor field (but actually air-conditioning indoor) ... with all shops in one side ...

About Agnès b. le pain grillé, it's a cafe & bakery selling light meal & drinks ... Some ingredients specially selected from France ... and don't think that fashion brand will do well only on look. I can say that fashion brand makes the food also not ordinary and the taste is mavellous !!!

Look at some items, le poulet italien (roasted chicken with Italian XO sauce in white baguette) HK$45 -- an amazing XO sauce with an Italian essence (not too hot & too spicy as Chinese One but with an east meets west combination).
And also Muffin (this one is wholesheat -- HK$16) with Tea (HK$35 from Mariage Freres Brand) or Coffee (HK$25 for regular -- a specialty coffee made from Etiopian Bean with a touch of Bazilian Process) ... If you like a high note coffee with thick texture, you will like it !!!
