Food Republic - a mega food court

Food Republic is a food court chain run by the BreadTalk Group based in Singapore. The one in this picture is on Wisma Atria branch which able to facilitate around 900 seats. That's why people call this MEGA Food Court in Singapore.

The concept here is a blast from the past featuring thatched-roof hawker stalls and heritage hawker cuisine. This design is to invoke a nostalgic kampong (a Malay hamlet or village in a Malay-speaking country) atmosphere.

This food court is a bit different from the other food courts since Food Republic merges the hawker fare with that of mini-restaurants and open dining restaurants. Standalone pushcarts operating as stalls with different items are also found at Food Republic. Food stalls consist of some of the best hawkers from around the island -- This is to show unique experience of Singapore's favourite dishes ...

Ok, here you can find the unique Singapore Dishes such as Hinanese Chicken Rice, Fried Carrot Cake, Singapore Fried Mee, Noodle Stall, including Indian / Vegetarian Food

Hainanese Chicken Rice (Upper Left) is steamed chicken served with fragrant rice cooked in chicken stock (underneat of chicken is the cabbage) eating with clear soup.

Fried Carrot Cake (Upper Middle) is rice flour & 'white carrot' or radish quick fried with soysauce, egg, garlic, chai poh (pickled radish) -- There are 2 choices with or without black soy sauce (black vs white version). My ordered version is the Black one ...

However, I did not have a chance to eat one thing called Hokkian Mee Stall -- it must be good since everyone eat it ... it's served on humble leaf (inner side of nut palm) ... see below pictures as proven !!!
