Huge Size Meringue at Canelé Pâtisserie Chocolaterie

I have found out that Singaporian have sweet tooth demand for dessert ... This is one of the dessert shop named "Canelé Pâtisserie Chocolaterie". This shop was led by Pastry Chef / Executive Pastry Chef Pang Kok Keong who passed his experience in so many 5 star hotels in Singapore and winning so many award including had inspired from lots of European Chefs.

Canelé Pâtisserie Chocolaterie (operated by Les Amis Group Company) officially opened on September 2004 and specialized on bread, pastries, cakes, chocolates and confectioneries. There are many branches for this shop such as Robertson Walk (Unity Street), Shaw Centre (Scotts Road), Paragon (Orchard Road), Raffle City Shopping Centre.

Anyway, I found this shop has some kind of similarity to one shop in Thailand name "Vanilla Industry" which run by S&P group company ... it's for style aficionados.

But only one thing that can amaze me and inspire me to try is their 'Meringue'. It's a hugh size and strange flavour of meringue -- look from what I held compared to my hand size !!!

Meringue is a type of French dessert made from whipped egg whites and caster sugar. Meringues are often flavoured with vanilla and a small amount of almond or other extract. They are very light and airy and extremely sweet.

At Canele, there are 3 types of meringue : Vanilla (with nut), Rose, and Violet (which is lavender) ...
Now, what about other items ??? There are many kinds of cake, pastry, or even magaroon which you can see from picture below ...
