Hong Kong Temple Street

Kowloon is the original Hong Kong -- it's more Chinese. One thing to experience Hong Kong Chinese Culture is to enjoy a night explore at Temple Street ...

Temple Street was named after Tin Hau Temple is located at Yau Ma Tei, Kowloon. It is well known for its night market and flea market at night and also open air night food paradise.

I would like to mention about snacks and roadside dining (local street cuisine) and also restaurants selling seafood including Clay Pot Rice. This is another Hong Kong culinary on traditional and unique food culture ...

Things that you will see in Temple Street is a queue -- a queue to get into some famous food store, a queue for a table ... That's thing you can judge where is the yummy place to eat !!!

The most famous item is "Clay Pot Rice" -- It's the rice in claypot topped with whatever meat you ordered -- The whole bowl will be heated over a high flame for 15-20 mins and be brought to your table. You have to allow it to ‘cook’ for another 5 mins, then you can open the bowl and pour sauce on top and enjoy it with spoon ...

You won't miss this Claypot Stall since there's a long queue (mostly local) to enjoy this !!!
